Volunteer Deposit Policy
Hollandia Soccer Club is a non-profit club, run by VOLUNTEERS. In order for Hollandia players and their families to have a successful and exciting season of soccer, each familys participation is vital!
Hollandia team managers collect Volunteer Deposit Cheques at the beginning of each season, a motivator to action. A Volunteer Deposit Cheque for $100, made out to H.I.S.C., dated April 30, 2017, will be required from each Hollandia family for the indoor season (note this is a fee per family not per player - the youngest player in the family should submit the cheque on behalf of the family). Each Hollandia family will be required to volunteer a minimum of 3 hours during the course of the 2016-17 INDOOR season. If a familys hours are not volunteered in full, the Volunteer Deposit Cheque will be cashed. A new cheque and an additional 3 hours of volunteer service will be required for the Outdoor Season.
Please note - In the case that a cheque was not submitted for a previous season, and volunteer hours were not completed, on-line registration will be suspended for any current registrations until the cheque is received.
Hollandia's goal is to cash ZERO cheques! We need your TIME ... so please get involved!
There will be many opportunities to complete your minimum volunteer hours:
- Coach or Assistant Coach
- Team Manager
- Evaluation Assistant
- In-person Registration
- Hollandia Board Member
- Hollandia Tournament Committees *Currently require Tournament Committee Members*
- Assist a Board member (ie. Collection, cleaning and distribution of Hollandia Equipment)
- Volunteer at the Hollandia Off the Wall AND/OR Hollandia Cup Tournament (ie. Field Marshal, 50/50, Admission table, Runner, etc.)
Throughout the year, Hollandia will mass e-mail families with volunteer opportunities. These opportunities will be filled on a first come first serve basis. A sign-in will be required for all volunteer opportunities to ensure each family has successfully completed their required 3 hours.
