Astra Academy

The ASTRA Soccer Academy is a soccer learning organization independent of Hollandia, which provides supplemental training to players from all zones across the city. ASTRA also provides contract coaches to provide skills training within the club. ASTRA is the only SSA approved Soccer Centre of Excellence in Saskatchewan, and as such must meet stringent standards imposed by the SSA with respect to coaching qualifications, sports science programming, curriculum and other factors. For players wishing to progress to the High Performance Stream (Provincial, National, Professional and University levels), supplemental training is a necessity. Some 250 players currently receive supplemental ASTRA training which amounts to five days per week of intense training.
